Meet the Artist Programs: STG invites students, community members, artists and audiences to dive deeper into performances through master classes, workshops, lecture/demonstrations, open rehearsals, soundchecks and residency opportunities with artists.

Young Artist Training & Performance Programs: STG offers young artists training and performance opportunities in cross cultural music, dance and choreography. Primary programs include DANCE This, More Music @ The Moore and The Young Choreographers Lab.

Student Programs: STG conducts a range of programs each year for students both in schools and on The Paramount and Moore Theatre stages including matinees, in-school residency programs and historic theatre tours.

Professional Development Programs: STG is committed to advancing the professional development of local artists through community performances and teaching opportunities. STG provides experiential programs for students to learn about careers in the arts through workshop, internships and technical mentorships. Profile programs include the Rainier Beach High School Technical Theatre Mentorship Program and the Black Achievers Partnership Program.

Theatre Access Program: STG annually provides thousands of tickets to performances at The Paramount and Moore Theatres to school groups, community organizations, young artists and seniors who would otherwise be unable to afford the opportunity. Historic Theatre Tours: STG gives the public a chance to learn more about the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres while giving them a glimpse behind the scenes. Free; once a month; the first Saturday of every month at 10am at The Paramount & the second Saturday of every month at 10am at The Moore Theatre.

Dance For Parkinson's: STG partners with the Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and Spectrum Dance Company to offer dance classes for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers. These classes are based on Dance for PDsm, a program developed by Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group.

Community Partnerships: STG is committed to developing and maintaining relationships with local schools, educators and community organizations. These community partnerships are vital to the exchange and growth of understanding and participation in the arts.
